The HAM Hub;
Two aspiring engineers ambition to create opportunities for local bands and engineers in a scene that was desperately lacking support. This is a space for other aspiring musicians and creatives to dip their toes in the daunting waters of the professional recording studio in an accessible and supportive environment. At the HAM HUB your passion is our focus.
The studio was designed with comfort and communication in mind. For this we opted for a more modern aesthetic, consisting of a producer room set-up with an isolation booth.
The "Main Room" of The HAM Hub boasts 48m2 of hardwood flooring, 3m high ceilings, 2 floor to ceiling bass traps, a naturally diffusive back wall, custom built diffusion and absorption panels, and all our outboard gear at arms reach of the mixing position.
Built to be our saving grace for live band tracking; the "Isolation Booth" was carefully designed to ensure a great sound right off the bat for drum, bass, guitar, and horn instruments. It features a floating floor and ceiling, ideal bass control, a naturally diffusive gem-shape; making it invaluable in live-tracking situations.
